    VICENTE SEMPERE

    Vicente Sempere, together with his brother Miguel Ángel, leads the growth of Hivesa, a family business that has been innovating textile recycling since the 1950s and is a strategic partner of The Loop.

    His daily work with clients and suppliers around the world and his commitment to sustainable innovation drive him to create customized circular solutions to transform textile waste into recycled low-impact fibers that re-enter the sustainable value chain.

    MIGUEL ÁNGEL SEMPERE

    Miguel Ángel Sempere, together with his brother Vicente, runs the family business Hivesa, a pioneer in textile recycling for six decades, long before sustainability was fashionable.

    As Head of Product Development and Innovation with extensive experience in sustainable and recycled materials, Miguel Ángel experiments with other waste streams, such as rubber, cork or plastic, for which he designs innovative recycling solutions that capture the value in waste and the full potential of the regenerative supply chain.

    JORGE MATAIX

    Jorge Mataix is a graduate in Economic and Business Sciences with a career spanning three decades and multiple circular economy projects in the textile sector. His extensive experience as Export Manager and CEO of Belda Llorens, a leading company in the manufacture of high-quality, low-impact yarns that operates in the global market, gives him in-depth knowledge of recycled and sustainable fibers and textiles.

    Truly committed to a more sustainable textile industry, he participates very actively in sectoral organizations -at national and international levels-, such as ATEVAL, the Valencian textile business association; CIE, the Spanish intertextile council; or EURATEX, the European confederation of the textile industry.

    RAFA LLOPIS

    Rafa Llopis is a Marketing, Communication and Advertising Specialist with a career of more than 30 years in leading Spanish television networks such as Telecinco, Cuatro, MindShare, Canal+ and Movistar+.

    He combines his work in the business area with teaching at different universities and business schools where he shares his expertise and his vision of a future where the industry is more collaborative, sustainable and ethical.

    JOSE SANZ

    An economist and lawyer with extensive experience spanning two decades, many sectors and various areas of responsibility in the business field, Jose Sanz has worked for large companies such as Grupo Forte, Carrefour, Chupa Chups, Nestlé, Mercedes Benz or Renault.

    He teaches at the University of Deusto and other educational institutions, and believes that working together with brands, consumers and system partners is the basis for creating positive impact and meaningful change for people and the planet.

    Vicente Sempere lidera junto a su hermano Miguel Ángel el crecimiento de Hivesa, empresa familiar que lleva perfeccionando el reciclaje textil desde la década de los 50 y es socio estratégico de The Loop.

    Su trabajo diario con clientes y proveedores de todo el mundo y su compromiso con la innovación sostenible le impulsan a crear soluciones circulares personalizadas para transformar los residuos textiles en fibras recicladas de bajo impacto que vuelven a entrar en la cadena de valor sostenible.

    MIGUEL ÁNGEL SEMPERE

    Miguel Ángel Sempere dirige junto a su hermano Vicente la empresa familiar Hivesa, pionera en el reciclaje textil desde hace seis décadas, mucho antes de que la sostenibilidad estuviera de moda.

    Como Responsable de Desarrollo de Producto e Innovación con amplia experiencia en materiales sostenibles y reciclados, Miguel Ángel experimenta con otros flujos de residuos, como el caucho, el corcho o el plástico, para los que diseña soluciones de reciclaje innovadoras que extraen todo el valor que hay en el residuo y todo el potencial de la cadena de suministro regenerativa.

    Combina su trabajo en el mundo de la empresa con la enseñanza en diferentes universidades y escuelas de negocios donde comparte su expertise y su visión de un futuro donde la industria es más colaborativa, sostenible y ética.

    In 2015, she founded her own company, The Thinker Studio™, built to unleash her creativity, bring her expertise to professionals in the fashion industry, and apply circular economy principles in their collections. Her strong belief that sustainable fashion begins with eco-design and her personal motto #generatingpositiveimpact, reflect her ongoing commitment to a better fashion industry.
